Steve Holli, MBA 1998, MSA 2008

Senior Vice President of Finance at GolinHarris, an international public relations firm headquartered in Chicago

The Brennan School of Business has provided executive Steve Holli with the credentials and skills to advance his career to a premier position in a global business organization.  While working as a finance administrator and analyst at companies such as Xerox and A.C. Nielsen, Steve simultaneously pursued his MBA at Brennan.  “Brennan gave me the depth of knowledge and foundation that I wanted for the next stage of my career,” he says, “and the program accommodated my needs as a working professional.”

While completing his MBA, Steve subsequently took a position at ABN AMRO, eventually becoming Assistant Vice President of Finance.  Some years later he began a new career at international public relations firm GolinHarris.  Mid-point in his career at GolinHarris, he returned to school and committed himself to a second degree from Brennan, this time earning his MSA.  “I had many years of practical accounting experience, however, I wanted a deeper appreciation and understanding of accounting that would support me in my current position as well as future career aspirations.  I knew I could count on Brennan to provide me the education and knowledge I sought.”

Today, Steve is Senior Vice President of Finance at GolinHarris, working from the firm’s global headquarters in Chicago.  “The experiences and education I received at the Brennan School of Business enabled me to continually advance my career and take it in direction I wanted,” says Steve.  “My achievements, so far, have been due to my ambitious work ethic and dedication to my employers, plus the experience and education provided through the completion my degrees from the Brennan School of Business.”
