Edward Dernulc

MBA Candidate 2014

Undergraduate Experience:
Indiana University, BS - Finance, 1982

Future Goals:
I want to make an impact on those who are not as fortunate as myself. It is my goal to use the values I am learning at Dominican for the betterment of those around me, to provide for those in need and to be an advocate, at all times, for those who do not have a voice.

My experience at Dominican and in my program:
I got involved with the Dominican Graduate program because of the partnership between Alexian Brothers and Dominican University. It has been a life changing venture since the first class. The professors have challenged me, have opened my eyes to different points of view and have pushed me to levels I did not think possible. One in particular has been Al Rosenbloom. He handed back my first paper, without a grade and said “you can do better than this.” From that point, it was an epiphany… I had someone who cared, was not going to accept lesser work from me and was going to push me to reach my potential. To say this class and this professor had a remarkable impact on me would be an understatement.
